Doug and Paula

Hi, we are Doug and Paula Holcomb. My fascination with the Border Collie came twenty-five years ago when Scamper walked into my life. She had been found along the railroad tracks looking for her forever family. She found it and changed our lifes for the better. After twenty-eight years of teaching elementary education, I retired to enjoy my passions, one being dogs. My dogs have introduced me to agility, obedience, rally, tracking, herding, and conformation.
Doug is my support system when it comes to the dogs. He retired from the United States Forest Service after thirty wonderful years. Now that he is retired, he has been the backbone of all my agility equipment and the development of the practice yard. He is there to transport dogs, deliver the 5th wheel to show sites, assist in training, and allow all the dogs special couch time.

Dallas Kay

Dallas Kay is one of our granddaughters. We have the honor of raising Dallas. She has added laughter, smiles, and a new element in our life. She has jumped on board with the dogs. Dallas can be found reading to the dogs, playing chase, sharing an ATV ride with them, practicing agility or rally, and has started to have an interest in grooming. She participated in her first agility trial July 2012 running our Belgian Tervuren, Keypre. Dallas now competes in agility with Gibbs and Blaze. They are competing in Open, Excellent, and Master levels. She is becoming quite the conformation handler as she works with Blink and our newest addition Swagger.
